(ASIC and IP company) and before that held several business management positions at LSI Logic (ASIC company), TSMC (Foundry), etc. Hibino holds an engineering degree from Seikei University.

Moshe Sheier serves as our Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Sheier brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor IP and chip industry in both development and managerial roles. Prior to this position, Mr. Sheier was the Director of Product Marketing at CEVA and before that he has managed Xilinx Inc. partner program in EMEA. Before joining CEVA, he was with the DSP Group since 1993, holding different engineering and R&D management positions, including the VLSI Department Manager. Mr. Sheier holds several US patents in the area of DSP architectures, a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A.

Liran Bar serves as CEVA’s Director of Product Marketing, overseeing Imaging & Vision DSP core product line. Liran has more than fifteen years of experience in the imaging semiconductor industry. Prior to joining CEVA, Mr. Bar was Director of Product Marketing at Altair Semiconductor covering LTE wireless communications product line. Before that he served as a director of product marketing at different multidisciplinary companies specializing in DSP multimedia, CMOS image sensor and Image signal processing. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University.

Franz has more than 15 years of experience in the semiconductor IP area, specifically in the connectivity markets. He co-founded RivieraWaves in 2010 and lead the sales and marketing activities. In 4 years, he grew the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi IP business from zero to $4M. Before joining RivieraWaves, Franz has been the Product Marketing Manager at Wipro-NewLogic during 4 years, in charge of the Bluetooth IP portfolio. From 1999 to 2005, Franz held several positions of project leader, customer support manager, team leader and hardware design engineer at VLSI Technology, Philips Semiconductor, NewLogic and PLDA.

Zeev has a broad experience with LTE, Wi-Fi and wired home-networking (HomePNA, HomePlug, G.hn) networking standards. Zeev Kaplan has a BSc. (Summa Cum Laude) and MSc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

José M. López-Almansa holds a M. Sc. on Telecommunications Engineering from Technical University of Madrid. He has more than twenty years of experience on GNSS Technology. He spent three years at the Technological Center of the European Space Agency (The Netherlands) working mainly on modelling of interference effects on GNSS receivers. Afterwards, he joined the Spanish company GMV where he has been working on multiple projects about GNSS technology for European Space Agency (ESA) and Galileo Supervisor Authority (GSA), as well as internal GNSS R&D activities. He currently serves as Technical Leader within GMV, leading the developments on SDR GNSS Receivers.

Her research interest includes multimedia processing of image, audio, music, video, text, Web, biological signals, etc. Moreover, her recent research topic is real world application of multimedia processing technologies based on AI, IoT and big data/complex network analysis. She has been a Director, International Coordination and Publicity of The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE); a Vice-President of the Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers, Japan (ITE); an Editor-in-Chief of ITE Transactions on Media Technology and Applications. She has also been a Board Member/Chief Technical Adviser of the Information Grand Voyage Project, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan; an Expert Member of the Information and Communication Council, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan; a Member of the Science Council of Japan and other organizations. Furthermore, through the collaboration with foreign R&D projects such as Quaero, CHORUS and Theseus, her achievements were highly appreciated.

Based in Canada, Patrice heads ImmerVision’s engineering as well as, contributes to IP growth and the adoption of ImmerVision’s 360° panomorph technology by global corporations. He has overseen the integration of 360° imaging technology in numerous consumer electronics, surveillance, automotive, aerospace, medical and broadcast products. Recently, he has led the miniaturization of the panomorph 360° technology for smartphones, tablets, wearables and IoT devices.

Back in 2000 in France, after completing his Master’s degree in image processing and computer graphics, Patrice joined the INRIA and contributed to their research in robotic surgery simulation field. In parallel, he co-founded ImmerVision, a company dedicated to 360° optics and imaging technology. With his conviction that 360° technology could be applied everywhere, he contributed to the development of 360° panomorph optical and imaging technology.

Beyond technology, Patrice believes that innovation is propelled by human beings, partnerships and alliances – he has collaborated with a large ecosystem of partners in the optics industry like Fujifilm, CBC Computar, Tamron and Kolen, and in the silicon industry like Marvel, Intel, Qualcomm, Sony, Samsung, HiSilicon, NXP and OmniVision. In addition, Patrice is an avid surfer, international traveler and always seeks to make new connections.
